CUSTOMER CANCELLATION YOUR RIGHTS

 

for contracts made at a customers home or place of work

 

 

Heys Groundcare like to treat our customers fairly and have outlined below your rights. You have the right to cancel the contract if you wish and this right can be exercised by delivering, or sending (including by electronic mail), a cancellation notice to the person whose details are provided above at any time within the period of 7 days starting with the day of receipt of this notice in writing of the right to cancel the contract.

 

The notice of cancellation is deemed to be served as soon as it is posted or sent to the trader, or in the case of an electronic communication from the day it is sent to the trader.

 

However if you do decide to cancel the contract you must make this intention clear in any communication.

 

If you decide to cancel the contract, you may be required to pay for the goods or services supplied if the performance of the contract has begun with your written agreement before the end of the cancellation period.

 

If there is a related credit agreement this will be automatically cancelled if the contract for goods or services is cancelled.

If you wish to cancel the contract you MUST DO SO IN WRITING and deliver personally or send (which may be by electronic mail or post) this to us.

 

Customer request for work to start within the cancellation period

 

I / We have agreed that work can commence before the end of the seven day cancellation period.

I/ we understand that if we subsequently cancel the contract before the end of the cancellation period, I/We have to pay for the work completed by this date.
